"I always wanted to 'save the world' from all of the environmental crises and the ESI summer program should me ways of doing just that. I participated in the ESI summer camp three times. Each year I participated in the summer program, I learned of more ways that I could do more to improve the quality of the environment. I was able to participate in hands on activates and field trips that stimulated my mind and increased my aspiration to pursue environmental science in college. While attending FAMU I have continued my studies in environmental science and have had exposure and experience beyond most of my peers."
