Dr. David Letson is the lead ECSC PI at the University of Miami. Dr. Letson's works within the Rosentiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science (RSMAS). The Rosentiel School focuses its research on today's most pressing environmental issues including:

• fisheries
• oceans and human health
• hurricane warnings
• cliamte change
• coral reefs
